Description
Oolitic limestone first mined in the 17th and 18th centuries in Somerset and Wiltshire and used extensively to build the Georgian city of Bath; it is a “freestone”, one that can be cut in any direction. It can assume a ‘honey colour’ tinge, particularly in locations with clean air.
